Have a very happy Christmas!

Intergraf will begin 2019 with a new logo, brand and website. As of our first day back in the office on 2nd January you will see much more of our new look and we can’t wait to introduce it properly to you! We will be back in contact next year with the file of the new logo that you can add you your websites, etc. From the whole team at Intergraf: Merry Christmas! We wish you and your families all the best for this holiday season and for 2019.

11-13/12/2018, EU Ecolabel review webinars with European Commission

Intergraf participated in the webinars organised by the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission on the revision of the EU Ecolabel for printed products. One of the outcomes of the webinars is the merge of both the printed paper Ecolabel and converted paper Ecolabel. Whereas it is not expected that the revision process will lead to softer criteria – quite the contrary – we see the opportunity with this revision process to extend the coverage of licenced products. Companies which are making the effort to comply with the criteria for one customer should be able to have more products covered under the same licence.

10-14/12/2018, STS BREF review final meetings, Seville

Intergraf participated in the final meetings on the review of the STS BREF. All week was dedicated to finalise the Best Available Techniques for the sector and the related emission limit values. The outcome needs to be further assessed but it is generally positive compared to set goals. The impact of the newly set limit values for energy consumption, NOx and CO is still to be assessed.

14/12/2018, Keep Me Posted EU High-Level Strategy Meeting, Brussels

A strategic meeting was organised to discuss the future of the campaign. With the European election of May 2019, the campaign will have to restart the process of reaching out to MEPs. The European campaign will maintain its role of coordinator of the national campaigns.

18/12/2018, Security Printers Committee Meeting, Brussels

A second programme meeting was held in order to identify all 65 speakers for the Security Printing Conference. These will be contacted by the Committee Members in the following weeks so that end of January the final programme can be approved in a conference call.
