Trimfold Envelopes located, appropriately enough, in Trim, County Meath, are one of the larger envelope suppliers in the country, regularly fulfilling orders that can run into the millions of units. The company plant employs 40 staff in a range of disciplines, covering the entire sales and production process. The sales team works with an in-house design team to deliver customised solutions to the manufacturing floor and a dedicated envelope printing department to ensure the fastest turn-around times possible.
The vertical integration of every part of the envelope production process means that Trimfold can cater to small, bespoke projects as well as handling the challenges of major orders for clients across Ireland, the UK and beyond. In 2006 the company joined the Mayer Kuvert network, extending their reach into Europe as part of a manufacturing group that produces over 45 million envelopes each day.
The company was established in Trim in 1971 and is currently headed up by Eugene Healy, who joined just four years later as part of the production team as an engineer and machine adjuster. Over the years Eugene has moved up through the ranks of the company, becoming production manager in 1996 before going on to become the company managing director in 2009. This sort of organic career path within one company is often seen as a relic of days past, but the depth of hands-on experience and insight it has imparted to the company’s management is a competitive edge few others can rival.
Emma Healy, the most recent addition to the team, represents the future of the company. Her successes are clearly demonstrated in the trust the company has placed with her in handling some of it’s largest accounts and overseeing the development of a modern and easy to use website that communicates clearly and instils confidence.
Trimfold represent the best of the Irish print manufacturing base. The company operates as an important local employer with a nationwide client base and shows every sign of continuing to push the envelope of the industry in the future.
