Johannes Gensfleisch zur Laden zum Gutenberg (Try fitting that on a business card) is the man to whom we owe so much. The father of movable type laid the foundations for the modern industry, not to mention gave us a whole host of common expressions derived from the printing process. (See how many you can spot).
